Since the Bay Area offers so many exciting activities, you might have a hard time deciding which ones to do. Let our staff of Bay Area residents help you make the most of your stay. The following are just some of the activities that we can recommend.

Bicycling and Hiking
The back roads of Marin County and Napa Valley draw cyclists from all over the world. Pedal over rolling hills, through pastoral landscapes dotted with dairy cows and wildflowers or lined with vineyards. The Marin County Bicycle Coalition offfers great maps of the area, specific to cyclists. If you’d rather do your bicycling off road, Repack Hill is where mountain biking began. Next door to our park is Rush Creek Preserve, an oak-studded nature preserve, where you can walk your dog, ride a mountain bike or simply enjoy the local shorebirds.
Bird Watching
There are many amazing bird watching opportunities in the Bay Area - especially in Marin County. Check out www.marintrails.com for the "Top 7 Birding Areas in Marin County"! In addition, Rush Creek Preserve is a great place to for birders to view thousands of shorebirds and waterfowl who congregate each fall and winter.
Wine Tasting
With hundreds of wineries to choose from, Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley offer days of leisurely exploration. You can enjoy hundreds of wineries as well as breweries, olive oil tastings and local organic food straight from the farm to your plate. You can even visit a beautiful castle, Castello di Amorosa for tours of the castle and award-winning wine tasting.
Museums/Amusement Parks
If you’ve brought along young family members, Novato RV Park is a great place to stay. The Golden Gate Bridge, the giant redwoods of Muir Woods, San Francisco’s Exploratorium and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom are sure to delight children of all ages.
Sporting Events
The San Francisco Giants and San Francisco 49ers, Oakland A's and Infineon Raceway – whatever the season, there is always a team to cheer on. Ask our staff about tickets.
